1. BT Line required. UTV Connect Fibre Optic Broadband is subject to a line test, exchange and cabinet availability. Minimum computer specification applies. All tariffs carry a 18 month minimum term.
2. Up to 80Mb download speeds. Up to 80Mb speed is subject to a line test and will depend on various factors, for example, exchange availability, distance to your local street cabinet and internal wiring. If your line does not support up to 80Mb, we can order ADSL/ADSL2 +, depending on service availability. Fibre Optic products will not run over any sort of telephone extension cable. During the installation of the fibre optic broadband service the BT engineer will fit a service specific front plate to the existing NTE5. Where no NTE5 exists, Openreach will install an NTE5 within 3 metres of the entrance to your property. A data extension kit, of up to 30 metres, is available for situations where the fitted NTE5 is not located near customer computer equipment; however there will be a charge for this extra work (with 1 year warranty).
3. Usage limits apply to some tariffs. Usage includes all information downloaded over your connection, as well as all information uploaded. Over usage is charged at £1 per Gb. Fair Usage Policy applicable to customers who are on unlimited usage. Terms and Conditions apply.
4. This offer is available to new and upgrading UTV Connect customers. Wireless compatible computer or adapter required. The Wireless modem is a Zyxel NBG417N and you must have an Ethernet port on your PC, Laptop or MAC for it to work if you are not utilizing the wireless capability. £7.66 for P&P applicable, signed for and delivered to your door.
5. UTV Connect reserves the right to remove this offer at any time, this promotion is available while stocks last and it is for new sign ups or customers migrating to UTV Connect from another Internet Service Provider. Usual Terms and Conditions apply.
6. The wireless modem included in the offer remains the property of UTV Connect at all times. If you end the service within the Minimum Term and you did not pay the full price for the hardware when you placed your order, then you will be liable to pay for the hardware. The hardware fee if cancelling within 6 months of commencing the contract will be £40.00, or £20.00 if cancelling after 6 months of commencing the contract but within Minimum Term.
7. New line installation £50 if required.
8. Minimum contract 18 months unless otherwise stated. The fee to cease a Fibre Optic Broadband service is £25.00.
9. Free calls to NI, ROI & UK landlines for up to 60 minutes per call.
10. Non geographic calls (Channel Island, Internet, Premium Rate and International Mobile) are not eligible for discount and will be charged the same as BT Standard rate.

What factors will affect the broadband speed I can receive?

Up to 80Mb Broadband uses new technology to automatically provide the fastest speed that your phone line can physically support, up to a maximum of 80Mb (Megabits per second). A line test is required and it is subject to proximity to a cabinet and exchange availability.

Your broadband speed will also vary during the day depending on how busy the network is, the speed of the Internet and of websites you are visiting, whether you're sharing your connection with others in your home, and whether you have any spyware or hardware slowing down your computer.
